Joan's cottage is approximately 400 years old, with lots of character and has been sympathetically decorated and furnished with the Master Bedroom being en-suite a second bathroom is found on the ground floor.  The cottage has private car parking and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach.  While it's a cosy cottage with lots of quirky features it easily sleeps 4 guests with two bathrooms and two bedrooms.  Local shops/cafes and pubs are on the doorstep.  Private car parking is available at the rear of the cottage.   A welcome pack awaits your arrival which includes local treats including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter local biscuits, artisan bread and a selection of preserves to get your holiday off to a yummy start!  I appreciate a dog is part of your family and so ONE well behaved dog is welcome.

Joan's Cottage is situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast in the heart of the charming seaside resort of Charmouth, which is one of the best beaches for finding fossils. Organised fossil hunts run throughout the year.  Located on the main street, with private parking, the beach and amenities are within a short walking distance, making it a fantastic location for your holiday on the south coast.

You are ideally situated for exploring the Devon/Dorset coast and countryside, you are spoilt for walks and nearby beaches such as Lyme Regis, West Bay and Seatown to mention just a few.

A large weekly Monday market is just a stones throw away from the front door and runs throughout the summer months where you can buy gifts and souvenirs to remind you of your stay.
